Inside of your computer is a world you've only dreamed of. A small system/city known as Mainframe is watched over by a "living on the edge" guardian named as Bob. With the help of the work-a-holic Dot Matrix and her hyper active little bother, Enzo, they protect Mainframe from viruses and games. As their lives grow more chaotic by the nanosecond, Bob becomes a part of their family and makes the city his home. Yet what starts off as casual battles and teasing of the viruses changes into a serious threat that could cost Bob, Dot, Enzo and their friends not only their lives, but Mainframe as well. The extraordinary adventures of life within a computer, as depicted in one of the world's first totally-computer-generated series. The riotous humour, infinitely-variable action and scenery, and intelligent use of every computer reference known, combine to produce a stunning universe where good constantly fights the forces of evil. Dot Matrix and her brother Enzo, plus thousands of friendly binomes, live in Mainframe, which is plagued by viruses Megabyte and sister strain Hexadecimal. Guardian Bob is sent from the Net to protect them, and soon makes it his home. Together, they must prevent Megabyte from taking control of all the systems. As an added complication, games being played by the mystical User invade the system regularly, and must be defeated, or else portions of the city are laid waste… This gives us a chance to see every genre of video-game ever conceived, from the point of view of the characters! When Megabyte finally manages to banish Bob, Enzo takes over as the city's Guardian, but things will never be quite the same… Reboot is REALLY the best TV series. Beast Wars had a decent story line and setting through the entire series, but individual episodes had lots to be desired; ill conceived concoction of questionable outings that I am certain I have have seen before.<br/><br/>Yet with Reboot you dont know what you get. <br/><br/>Also it's filled with In-jokes and puns. Characters with names like "Dot Matrix." References to pop-culture ;there is a guy dressed like "Where's Waldo", one like Indiana Jones and once a woman who resembled a certain pregnant female sherrif from Brainard, North Dekota.<br/><br/>Hillarious.<br/><br/>But the series also have a dark side which becomes prominent during the third season. It is not as sophisticated as Beast Machines, Action Man or other MAINFRAME prodcutions, but is still great, even though it's showing its age. first let me tell u that my spelling is not correct but what i want to put across is my idea. i hope is understandable<br/><br/>what a great idea this show<< don't u get it??? this show is life it self, u have to see this show between the lines its contents is so provocative that ABC canceled it after 2 seasons<br/><br/>but this show will only be understood by people who understand the reality of life, I'm gonna explain, i hope u understand<br/><br/>its like this, in reality u were first a soul not who u r now in your body, u originally were a soul, therefore thats the first reality, follow so far? now, your soul decides to go alive at any period of time and any place your soul wants in order to meet the challenges your soul needs to evolve, get it??<br/><br/>this show, shows that with symbols and clues for people who knows this, like this>>><br/><br/>all the characters are in the spirit world, and when a game comes in the ones that went inside have to accomplish the level in order to stay alive, and the game can be anything, at any period, and any place; race car driver, cow boy, just like life, get it???? when in the TV show a game comes in is just like when your soul goes in the game of life. like in the movie dark city. same concept, at midnight everyone sleeps meaning they die, and wake up being someone completely different don't u get it??? this films are symbolic but the average person is so hopelessly dependent on theyr reality that they cant accept this. its all real but symbolic. the matrix, dark city, reboot, the game, wake up readers study and ask your self the ultimate question: why are we here. stop shopping so obsessively, stop talking about people, stop watching dumb TV, stop now, all this things keep u from your real purpose. accomplish this level.
